Be Energy signs long term feedstock agreement for COMFIT projects
Be Energy has signed a 20 year long term feedstock agreement for supply of farm waste to power the first phase of the Nova Scotia COMFIT program.The waste will come from local farmers and will power a 6.5 MW system. This is the first phase of up to 15.65 MW’s of projects to utilize farm waste for renewable, clean power. The contract is with Straight BioGen, a company owned by local farmers who will be supplying the biomass.
