Be Energy acquires 60% stake in Provincial COMFIT Program
Be Energy Group CEO Greg Bowman and CFO Nicholas Pilbrow have negotiated a 60% stake in farm waste to electricity projects in Nova Scotia, Canada. The three projects total up to 15.65 MW of power generation. The Nova Scotia COMFIT program was put in place to help alleviate farmer waste strain on landfills by allowing for the electricity to be sold into the provincial grid. The Be Energy team is finalizing the design for the first phase of the system which will be located in Nova Scotia, Canada.
